Simplicity pattern circa 1948
One Piece Dress: The front buttoning bodice joins the softly flared skirt at the natural waistline under a tie belt. The sleeves are gathered at the upper and lower edges. Ruffling of self fabric or embroidered edging simulates an apron on the skirt. Style 1 features a tie collar trimmed with lace and three-quarter sleeves edged with ruffling. In style 2, embroidered edging trims the long, gathered sleeves, neck edge and skirt.
