1940's Simplicity Halter or Strapless Dress with Sweetheart Neckline and Capelet pattern - Bust 30" - No. 2830 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Simplicity pattern - circa 1940's
Teen Age One-Piece Daytime and Evening Dress and Cape: The fitted bodice, cut in four sections, is gathered at the top of the center front seam. A notched fold trims the upper edge and a slide fastener closing secures the back. Halter-type shoulder straps are optional. It straps are omitted, featherboning is used. The full skirt is gathered over the hip. A flared cape with rounded edges has tie ends forming a bow at the neck. Style 1, he evening version, has embroidered edging trimming the cape and lower edge of the four-gored skirt. In Style 2, the skirt is cut in three sections and topped with a wide contrasting belt. The short cape is faced in contrast.

Envelope: Poor vintage condition with tears, open edges and darkening. Comes in an acid-free plastic baggie for storage.
