1940's Simplicity Child's Dress with Puff Sleeve and Embroidery pattern - Chest 21" - No. 1790 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Simplicity Pattern circa 1946
Dress in Two Lengths: The basque bodice is dart-fitted at the waistline. The short sleeves are puffed and gathered into the armhole. The gathered skirt joins the bodice at the natural waistline and tie ends are joined in the side seams. Style I is made with a Peter Pan collar. In Style II, the square neckline, sleeves and waistline are edged with lace. Embroidered nosegays make a pretty rimming for Styles I and II. Transfer for embroidery is included. 8 pieces and embroidery design.
Chest: 21"
Waist: 20"
Transfer: present and unused.
Pattern: Complete. Printed tissue. Cut with pinking shears along cut lines. Comes with instructions.
Envelope: Very poor vintage condition with darkening, open edges that were held together with old tape and tears. Comes in acid-free baggie for storage.
