Featured in McCall Style News November 1937: "We are ready with ideas for Christmas dolls. Their new frocks must be in the popular peasant styles - of bright cottons, trimmed with colored rick rack, and worn with a white guimpe. Or, they may be a plain color, with varicolor cross-stitch on the guimpe. New nighties are trimmed with rick rack, too, and play overalls with bias tape. The hooded capes are cut on the newest lines. These smart designs will fit the movie dolls."
