1940's Simplicity Scoop Neck Button Up Blouse, High Waisted Shorts and Button up Skirt or Jumper Pattern - Bust 32" - No. 4981

Simplicity pattern circa 1944

Shorts, Skirt, Blouse and Jumper: The blouse is softly gathered at the neck and upper and lower sleeve edges. In Style I, the blouse is trimmed with lace, beading and ribbon. The front-button skirt is styled with front gathers. The blouse in Style II has bias-bound neck and sleeve edges. The shorts are styled with three pleats in front and darts in back. In Style III, the jumper buttons down the front and is finished with a patch pocket.

Waist: 26.5"

Hips: 35"

Pattern: Complete. Partially printed tissue. Only Blouse was ever used. Comes with paper instructions.

Envelope: Poor vintage condition with open edges, tears and darkening.
