1940's Simplicity Two Piece Double Breasted Dress Pattern - Bust 34" - No. 1866

Simplicity pattern circa 1946

Two-Piece Dress: The top is styled with princess lines which flare below the waistline. A double row of buttons makes a smart front closing. The skirt, cut in four sections; falls in an easy flare with fullness centered in the back. Style I has three-quarter length sleeves, finished with a contrasting detachable cuffs which button to the sleeves. The neckline is shaped. Style II has a round collar and a contrasting ribbon bow at the neck edge. The short sleeves are trimmed with cuffs.

Bust: 34"
Waist: 28"
Hips: 37"

Pattern: Complete. Printed tissue. All pieces cut with pinking shears along or just inside cut lines. Piece has larger tears from use.Comes with paper instructions.

Envelope: Very poor vintage condition with lots of tears, open edges and discoloration.
